holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
how was New
York!!! wow mom killed it this time holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 hours that is
crazy!!!! give her a big hug for me will ya!!! i bet you she will sign up for
another one! i got 100 bucks on it because she has done all the ones she wants
to yet! hahah that is awesome mom sent me some pictures of them! for Halloween i
got to go proselyting and watch little kids walk around with their parents but
there wasn't very many of them and it is not very popular like it is in the
states! and jake was a teletubby! that is freaking awesome! hahahahahahaha....
wow kyle´s football season is already over and they are in the play offs?? that
was fast! is he playing yet? tell him that he needs to write me back since he
hasnt in 2 weeks!!!! did someone really surf a 100 foot wave too?????????? life
in Peru is starting to get really good and me and my companion are looking at 7
baptisms this month!!! so stoked about it! we have this one investigator named
Jordan who is 16 and we finally got permission from his parents and one thing
that he said that was awesome is that me thinks he might want to serve a
mission... he thinks is cool! i was so stoked about that! but yeah finally
things are starting to get moving! we dont have many other progressing
investigators so we knock on alot of doors! we get crappy references too which
sucks. the bishop is an idiot some of the times too which is really hard
when you want to make the ward bigger but i guess not everyone can be like
bishop johnson... but how is life in the states??is the government finally
running again?? how is work?? any knew projects going on?? did you sell my
dirtbike?? can you send me some of those wrist bands from your work! mine broke!
are you guys in costa rica right now??? if you are... that is so unfair on so
many levels.... anyways i survived my first change in the mission and our zone
went thought alot of changes... elder brown left which i was pretty bummed
about. this happens to be the last change for my companion too... its crazy to
think that he is going home and i have just started...one day there was a
massive game of bingo being played... and like the whole town was there playing
because of the prizes they had.. it was funny to see... i had a pretty funny
momnt the other day with a family that we are teaching... so i needed to use the
restroom but the mom was showering... everyhouse here only has one toilet... we
in the states get to enjoy the satisfaction of having more then one toilet so we
dont have to wait and i tell you that is such a blessing... anyways when the mom
was finished the father was then trying to explain to me that i could now use
the restroom but i was not understanding him because of how fast he was
talking... he then went on to make the motion of peeing and the noise associated
with it and i finally understood what he was saying....everyone was laughing so
hard it was pretty funny... on nov 16 we have 3 people getting baptized and 4
on the 23 of nov... one of the kids said when he went to church with us and his
family he said he felt really calm and peaceful like it was where he needed to
be... it is awesome to see the gospel working in other people and when they fell
the love of Christ because everyone has the light of Christ and they just need a
push or missionaries to get them started. i want to change every bodies life
here but my Spanish needs to get alot better for sure... it is getting better
day by day but it still is pretty sucky... i think the people are trying to make
me fat wit how much food they are giving me and i hate it because there is no
gym i can go to or anything. the last pday we went to the beach with some of
our investigators and i was in heaven for about an hour... it was
awesome...however i wish i was on carlsbad beach instead with you guys... i took
the Frisbee and the paddle ball and we had a good time... anyways i am loving
the mission more and more each day. i a m really trying to forget myself and
worry about those people that need me because they really need it here. these
people need the gospel in their lives ... a perfect scripture that goes with
this is Luke 9;62 ..."and Jesus said unto him, no man, having put his hand to
the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of god" i know this could have
a different meaning but i like to relate it to missionary work... i really dont
want to look back on my mission wishing i could of done more... another great
missionary scripture is right below it in Luke 10:1-3... awesome.... well
anyways life is going good and it seems like it is for you guys! i miss you guys
like crazyyyyy... wish i could wake early to go surf instead of studying
Spanish... anyways... LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
pictures of ancon and the ocean and my companion on halloween!
Elder Mac, when i post this comment do you get it, or better to send you an email? I just thought your friends and family could post here and then it is all together.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the names of the people getting baptized? A family? That is pretty awesome and sounds like you are teaching a lot of people and doing a lot of good. I bet having a local companion is helping your Spanish.
As I think you know, I moved to St. George and at Dixie State. I am enjoying it a lot but miss seeing your brothers and family. I am going to the BYU/ Notre Dame game at south bend this weekend with friends and pretty stoked about it.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and will be sad to not have you here, but so glad you are there and doing the Lord's work.
Seguro que estory tan orgulloso de ti. Sigue trabajando fuerte y que el Senor te bendigas.
