hola mi padre!
como estas? it seems like the time is going by so
fast no? well if you want me to inform you... i only have like 48 more
semanas... that is like nothing... hahaha... but it seems like the weeks are
passing by really fast and there is nothing i can do about it. but yeah i will
try to talk to president as soon as i can about it. i dont know how he will
take it because i still am missing alot of time but oh well. i will talk to him
as soon as i can. dont worry, i dont really get homesick... but i do want to
get out in the ocean like crazy. how long in advance does the plans have to be?
and who is this seth robinson kid... i forgot who he looks like. but he will
really like this mission... i will most likely see him quite a bit... awesome.
i look forward to his coming... and wow that is terrible... i will pray for her
for sure. that sure stinks.. how old is she? someone told me in the district
that it is flooding over there? is that true? and wow sounds like rm is stepping
up there game play! send me some videos of his games! i would love to see some
of his plays! wish i could see kyle play so bad same with jake and josh... there
are all just tearing it up on the field... it must run in the family!
hahahaha... and good i sure hope that you guys are writing down all the good
movies for me. and i am sorry about the wheel barrow thing... i couldnt resist.
there was no other option and i had to be a boy scout again and do the pop and
squat combo where i could... it was awful but i will never forget it... the
memories you make in the mission hahaha... my health is doing alright.... i have
lost like alot of muscle... i am no longer the muscular person like i was. more
like skin and bones.... i will need a nice gym pass when i get home..
hahahahaha.... this week was a little rough with the comp... he is a person of
drama but he is learning how not to be. he is a great missionary and i will
miss him dearly but his drama no haha... but we still got some big things to
do... yesterday we found a family of 4 that accepted to be baptized. they are
awesome! he had found them before and taught just the father awhile back ago but
one day i was walking and they ran into me and i set up a time that we could
come by and speak with the whole fam... the wife was stoked about it. one of
the things i fasted for on saturday is that we would be able to teach them
lesson one and that the spirit would be really strong there with this family.
it came true and they were waiting for us to arrive. now they are going to go
to church this sunday with us and accepted to be baptized... it was cool to see
that one of the things that i fasted for came true. we have another family that
we hope will get married this month... another family of 4... sure hope that
everything will go as to plan because if so baptizing two families in one month
would be so legit. i am seriously am in love with the truck dad... like alot...
you should of done it awhile back but i am sure that kyle is just loving it and
all his friends. what is the gas mileage? everything over here is going
alright... my companion is dying in 4 weeks... i really dont want to kill anyone
else because they get so trunky and dont want to do anything... to me i dont see
why because its not like they will have 24 hours a day 7 days a week to be able
to preach the gospel but i guess some people dont think of it like that. just
gotta enjoy this weeks i got here in this area because i really love this area
even though its like living in the sand dunes of yuma and its starting to become
that hot too. i heard the heat is terrible.... ohhh one of our reactivations is putting in his papers to serve a mission.... i was helping him out with his
papers! IT was awesome feeling for me and i couldnt stop thinking about that it
wasnt to long that i was doing the same! awesome to see the fruits... we also
baptized his father and now we are working on the mother to get her more active
in the church so that they can go to the temple in 11 months and be a family for
forever. my soccer is getting really good just like josh... my spanish is
getting better everday but its good. my missionary agenda i decorated it with
surfing all over it! hahaha... i got the whole district to love jack johnson.
they love him. there is a guy that we heard the other day who is like jack johnson but spanish and its awesome! ill show you some of his songs later.

Hey Elder Mac;
Another week has come and gone and these days it seems like I am sort of counting them down looking forward to your return. I know you are having an amazing experience but I really miss you. Make sure you talk to your president about your release date as mom and I need to plan our trip down there pretty soon. I guess you need some advanced reservations for Machu Pichu, etc....Don't let me make you homesick. I am so stoked that you are working hard and having some good success. I talked with Seth Robinsons dad today at church. He leaves in early October for the MTc and then he will be in your mission. He is a cool kid and was in our priest quorum. He played outside linebacker on the red mountain football team last year. pretty athletic kid.
So, the big news of the week is actually quite unfortunate. My baby sister Heather was at Saguaro Lake last monday enjoying the day with her in-laws. They were apparently on a houseboat and had quite a few people. She was swimming in the water when one of her neices jumped off the top of hte house boat and landed on her neck. The impact broker her neck in the C5 - C6 area. She was rushed to the Hospital and they initially did traction as to be able to move the broken bone without it putting any pressure on her spinal chord. It proved to be successful and then they did surgery to stabilize the bone...so I think they fused C5 - and C6. She will have no paralysis and should be able to heal fine. She has a long road ahead of her as far as healing.... It is difficult because she has so many young kids and a new baby. Luckily she has a lot of help. It was a very close call and I suppose it could've been alot worse but she has been in alot of pain
this week. Please say your prayers for her and ask for a good recovery.
Kyles football team played West Lake Village, a team from California just north of LA. They are ranked 7th in California and 40th in the nation. Red Mtn played a good game except they had 3 costly turnovers. we lost in the last seconds of the game... i believe the score was 24-31. We actually outplayed the team and should have won. Kind of a bummer. There was some really positive things that the team will take from the game that will help them in division play down the road here. Kyle played a really good game and I am impressed with his abilities and his motivation.
Mom and I went and saw Howard Jones and the Thompson Twins play on Wednesday night and the Marquee theater. It was a fun concert and we had a good time. We also saw a good movies last night about a high school football team that you will like when you get home. The picture you sent of the wheel barrow was too much. I was so grossed out. I made Kyle look at it and he was grossed out too. I deleted it from your file. How is your health? It sounds like you are stoked to still be with your companion. I guess you will be staying in that area for a while now...but it sounds like you like it.
The new truck is awesome. I has a slight lift on it and is supercharged...It drives really nice....I think it is a gas hog though. I told kyle to send you a picture of it. Let me know how everything is going.....Love to you son.!!!
DAD
